Learn to cast your cares but not your responsibilities.

Jesus says to cast your cares and your burdens on Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is lite, meaning that He will not become a burden on you or add to your burden, but just the opposite.
However just because we are to cast our cares on God, that does not mean letting go of responsibility. God calls us to be responsible people in all things. However it takes effort to learn to cast your cares, while not casting your responsibility. Learn to do this however, and you will be much better off.
…. What is your sphere of influence? The people in life that you touch? And what about those you don’t yet know?
“God puts people in our lives on purpose for a purpose, so we can help them succeed and become all He has created them to be. That means we have an assignment to encourage and inspire them to go higher.”
Do you really think it is an accident that you know the people that you know? Is it an accident that you were born into the family you are in? Is it an accident that new people come into your life and change/effect various aspects of it?
All relationships on earth ultimately have one purpose; to bring the light of Christ to them and to help spread the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, to every person we come into contact with. To make disciples of others, to teach them, impart wisdom to them, and encourage them. To build people up and not tear them down, so that the light of our God may shine forth and influence them to make the right decisions in their own life… So that the chain of bringing others under the wings of Jesus can continue. And on and on and on.
When the Bible says “How can they hear without a preacher?” he is talking about YOU. How can that acquaintance of yours find God if you don’t tell them about Him? Remember to use the influence you have over others to do good, and impart the Word and Light of Christ wherever and whenever possible. You don’t even need to speak to others, sometimes a simple smile, a simple hello, a simple hug, a simple “I know what you are going through, and my God has the solution” will do. Often times, more than an intellectual debate or discussions on the merits of Jesus and His message, it is acts of love that will move the heart and soul, and cause the Holy Spirit to convict that person into heading down the direction that leads to their Savior. We are the messengers. And other people are the field in which we sow new souls.
God is our hiding place, protecting us, delivering us, preserving us. Blessed Is He.
“God is my hiding place. He preserves me from trouble. He surrounds me with songs of deliverance. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Psalm 32:7 – Benny Hinn.
Remember that God is not far from us, He is always there. Always near. Always inside. Always comforting. Always delivering. Always preserving His children from the troubles of the world that would bring down lesser men and women.
But we must rely on Him, turn to Him, trust Him and think on Him as we go about our daily business. Remember that the Bible does not say you need to set aside a set amount of time to pray… you do not need to perform rituals or try and “feel” closer to God. The Bible says to, quite simply, “pray without ceasing”. That is, make it a regular part of your day to speak to the Lord. This is how you build a relationship…. Both here on earth and in the Heavenlies.
Smiling is powerful. A weapon that fights many hardships in life effectively.
This Encouraging Quote of the Day is pretty straight-forward:
“When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.”
Just like “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”, this is a quote that encourages people to be happy and optimistic despite the current situations or difficulties facing you. Everyone can find many reasons to cry about the hand of life that has been dealt to you, but you can also find plenty of reasons to smile. Instead of focusing on the former, why not focus on the latter? :)
Say hello with a smile, and goodbye with a smile. Even if that smile is undeserved.
This Quote of the Day is a really encouraging one, thanks to Jeremy Dunn (hey! That rhymes!),

This quote really says it is all, and this is the way that people should react when being confronted with a mean spirit or smart alec attitude. Instead of letting it piss you off, ruin your day, make you sad, make you angry, or make you depressed; think of it like this. “Wow, this person really could use some kindness to soften up that heart of theirs.”
…. Treat others how you wish to be treated. Love your enemies, hate no one. Pray for those who persecute you. Respect one another as Jesus Commanded.
Then be nice back to them even though they don’t deserve it and didn’t ask for it. Likely they will be very surprised by your reaction. If anything, it will keep YOUR mood intact and cause you to continue on your merry way despite the road block that was just placed in your way to make you stumble! It also makes the devil, very, VERY pissed. ;)

No kindness is ever wasted. In fact, it will do wonders.
“What costs us very little may mean a lot to someone else. Take time to bless others even in the small ways.”
People often don’t realize how much a little bit of love may mean a lot to someone else. That smile, that wave, that acknowledgment may be just what that person needs to get them through the day. Even if you didn’t even think about the act, you could’ve just saved a life.
Remember that God does not call us to live our lives for only ourselves. We are Commanded to encourage others, love others, and build others up. Just as we need encouragement ourselves in our walk. No one can do it alone; someone has to go out of their way to offer that compassion that will move the Spirit of another. Will you be that person today?

This is a strong quote because it deals with a very common problem in society today… people who whine and complain about everything under the Sun, just because THEY CAN. Remember that no one likes a whiner, and complaining is a good way to not only make your mood worsen, but do absolutely nothing to solve whatever problem or issue you are complaining about.
Complaining also takes a lot more energy than people realize. If you were to take that energy of the everyday things bothering you, and instead pump that into remaining positive and having a thankful attitude, you’d see many of your problems completely disappear. Once something no longer gets to you, you have won. Just drop it and watch how God honors you for your decision, and watch how it improves your day-to-day life.

Chasing God by studying the example of David, a Man After God’s Own Heart.
“God rewards people that diligently seek Him. Make it a goal to seek Him, honor Him, and please Him, and He will bless you.” – Joel Olsteen
The Bible talks about a man named David, a man whom God said was after His own heart. And yet David was as flawed an individual as they came, and made many mistakes and committed many sins. And yet God’s view of David still stood.
David accomplished great feats and was immeasurably blessed because of his devotion to God.
Why was that? It was because David diligently sought God and admitted to His mistakes while asking for God’s favor and forgiveness. It was not what Daniel did or said that God cared about, it was how he did it and what he said afterward. Daniel was frank and honest with God and Daniel actively sought God’s forgiveness, His grace, His compassion and His ways. God honored this and it lead David to great things and God blessed him immeasurably.
We can be like David today by doing exactly what Joel Olsteen says in this quote. There is power behind his words because they are the words of Christ, and fall inline exactly with how one should go about living their life. Don’t allow God to be the last person you turn to… Turn to Him first, and everything else will fall inline.

This amazing quote challenges us to reconsider where we are in life and where we think our accomplishments lie. Too many of us in life are doing exactly what this quote tells us not to, myself included. Ultimately a lot of what makes up our day-to-day lives will be meaningless and of little to no worth in the end…
And that is something that should challenge us to live our lives to the fullest each and every day.
Can you imagine dedicating your entire life to the service of your fellow man? Most people have a hard time giving or volunteering their time to help others on a monthly basis, much less a weekly basis. And a daily basis?
Looking at Mother Teresa and the wisdom of her words and deeds should serve as an inspiration to everyone, to remember not to forget that we, as God’s children, are called to serve our fellow man, as Jesus served us.

Living for others is the calling of all who serve Jesus Christ.
