Fortnite is set to receive a significant influx of Star Wars content, potentially marking its most substantial collaboration to date. Epic Games has unveiled that, beginning May 1st, players can access a variety of Star Wars-themed experiences. This initiative complements the numerous existing islands already created using the game’s official Star Wars toolkit.
Three new playable experiences will be introduced starting May 1st, with no announced end date. A standout feature is a horror-themed game where players must evade the menacing Darth Vader. Here’s a breakdown of each new experience and its access code:
- Galactic Siege (developed with JOGO Studios, island code: 5003-9856-3648) – Engage in large-scale PvP class-based battles with 10v10 combat across renowned Star Wars planets.
- Escape Vader (developed with Beyond Creative, island code: 7285-4185-5428) – Survive by hiding and evading in this 4-player co-op game, where the objective is to escape the terrifying Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
- Droid Tycoon (created with FOAD, island code: 7865-8305-9184) – Construct and personalize droids using authentic Star Wars blueprints, manage your workshop and factory operations, and unlock rare components and unique missions.
Beyond these new games, a watch party for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is scheduled for May 19th at 10 am ET. During this event, players will receive a special message from Jon Favreau and an exclusive 10-minute preview of the film, which premieres in theaters on May 22nd. Following this, another experience will unlock, allowing players to act as deputies tasked with collecting bounties, defending the city from adversaries, and ultimately locating Grogu. A Q&A session with Jon Favreau is also planned for May 26th.
To further satisfy your Star Wars cravings, new and returning Star Wars outfits and items will be featured in the in-game shop throughout May. Epic has released a graphic detailing the month’s content.
Fortnite is accessible on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (versions 1 & 2), PC, iOS, and Android.
