Xbox Game Pass is gearing up for a significant month in May 2026, featuring highly anticipated releases and intriguing previews. Subscribers can look forward to day-one access to several new titles, alongside bonuses for existing games and a new game mode for Sea of Thieves.
Among the headline additions are the next installment in the renowned racing series, Forza Horizon 6, and an early look at the upcoming survival adventure Subnautica 2. The month’s lineup also includes a variety of other games, spanning different genres.
Day-one releases slated for May include Forza Horizon 6, the indie narrative game Mixtape, the cooperative camping experience Outbound, and the Lovecraftian puzzle adventure Call of the Elder Gods. Additionally, a game preview for the highly anticipated Subnautica 2 will be available.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also receive new bonuses for World of Warships: Legends. The popular pirate adventure Sea of Thieves is set to introduce its new “Last Ship Standing” game mode during May.
