VTuber Amakusa Miro Develops "Second Ankle" Muscle from Gaming with Feet
Japanese VTuber Amakusa Miro, celebrated for her distinctive method of playing video games exclusively with her feet using a Nintendo Switch Pro controller, has recently shared an amusing revelation that has captivated her audience. After dedicating five years to this unusual gaming style, Miro discovered she had developed an unexpected muscle mass on the outer side of her left foot, which she humorously dubbed a 'second ankle.'
In her online post, she playfully announced, "I'm a body part-tuber who, after five years of playing with my feet, ended up with two ankles!" This peculiar development is, in fact, a particularly developed muscle, a direct result of the intensive use of her left foot. Miro frequently keeps this foot lifted and flexed to precisely interact with the controller. In contrast, her right foot is used more passively for pressing primary buttons, which explains why it hasn't undergone a similar transformation.
Despite her unconventional playstyle, Miro is exceptionally skilled. She primarily engages in popular multiplayer titles such as Splatoon 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Mario Kart World, consistently achieving impressive results, including reaching the highest rank in Splatoon 2.
The VTuber playfully commented on her unique physiological adaptation, noting that she has developed muscles most people aren't even aware exist. She even affectionately named this distinctive feature the 'Amakusa muscle,' jokingly suggesting the possibility of leasing it out as advertising space.
