FIFA Heroes Release Date Confirmed: Official FIFA Game Arriving Soon
With the FIFA World Cup drawing closer, the release date for FIFA Heroes on mobile platforms has been announced. This new video game, bearing the official FIFA license, might surprise fans with its unique take on the sport.
It’s a 5v5 arcade game that blends famous footballers with diverse characters, including mythological figures like Thor and Sun Wukong, creating a rather unusual mix.
FIFA Heroes will be available on April 26 for mobile devices. PC and console versions are set to follow at a later, unspecified date.
Footballers and Eclectic Characters
Announced last October and developed by Enver, FIFA Heroes appears primarily aimed at a young audience. It offers an arcade and immediate interpretation of football, enriched with elements from popular culture.
Far from a realistic simulation, the game stands out for its fast-paced, purely arcade approach, focusing on "exaggerated abilities, characters with strong personalities, and accessible gameplay," as officially described.
Matches are designed for quick, intense, and frequent sessions. The game will feature multiplayer modes, limited-time events, and a season-based progression system. Characters combine official FIFA mascots, the most celebrated football icons, and a wide array of figures from TV series, films, and mythologies. Real footballers include names like Diego Maradona and Harry Kane, encompassing both current stars and historical legends of the sport, alongside future protagonists of the upcoming World Cup.
