Computex 2026: Alienware Pushes OLED Technology Further in New Monitor Lineup

At Computex Taipei 2026, Alienware has launched four new gaming monitors, showcasing advancements in OLED screen quality. Marking nearly three decades in the gaming hardware industry, Alienware continues to innovate with evolving technology. Their new top-tier monitor, the 39-inch 5K OLED (AW3926QW), is the world’s first 5K OLED to utilize RGB stripe technology. This innovation ensures sharp color fidelity without compromising brightness. Joining it are an updated 34-inch 280Hz QD-OLED, and more accessible 34-inch and 32-inch 240Hz models. These new displays are slated for release in July.

Alienware 39 5K OLED Gaming Monitor (AW3926QW)

The revolutionary 39-inch 5K OLED monitor incorporates RGB stripe technology to enhance brightness while preserving the core strengths of OLED: exceptional color accuracy and deep blacks. This monitor employs a panel constructed with stacked layers of independent red, green, and blue elements, achieving a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. This allows for vibrant colors and true blacks that are not diminished by high brightness levels.

This 1500R curved display offers dual refresh rate modes: 1080p at 330 Hz and 5K at 165 Hz, complemented by a rapid 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time. To ensure durability and prevent screen degradation, the 39-inch 5K OLED features intelligent pixel management technology that anticipates and stabilizes user patterns. For users managing multiple devices, an integrated KVM switch provides seamless switching.

Alienware 34 280Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW3426DW)

Alienware’s pioneering QD-OLED gaming monitor, launched in 2022, blended high-quality OLED with Quantum Dot (QD) technology. Building on this foundation, the company has introduced the improved 34-inch 280Hz QD-OLED.

The AW3426DW now features five stacks of Penta Tandem technology, up from four, enhancing efficiency, lifespan, and boosting peak brightness to 1,300 nits from the previous model’s 1,000 nits. A new anti-reflective coating reduces glare by 30%, and the refresh rate on the 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED panel has been increased from 240 Hz to 280 Hz, with a 0.03 ms response time.

34 and 32-inch 240Hz Gaming Monitors (AW3426DWM & AW3226DM)

For those seeking the premium performance of the 39 5K OLED at a more accessible price, the new 34-inch and 32-inch 240Hz curved gaming monitors are ideal. The 34-inch model boasts a 3440 x 1440 Ultrawide Quad HD panel with a 1500R curve, while the 32-inch model offers a 2560 x 1440 Quad HD resolution. Both monitors deliver a 240 Hz refresh rate with a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time and feature TÜV-certified low-blue-light hardware to minimize eye strain.

The Alienware 32-inch 240Hz Gaming Monitor is priced at $299.99 USD, and the 34-inch version at $399.99 USD. Pricing for the Alienware 39 5K OLED and 34 280Hz QD-OLED is yet to be announced. All four monitors will be available globally in July, with availability expected on the official Dell website.
