xTool O1 Omni Printer: Versatile Printing for Diverse Materials

xTool has introduced the O1 Omni Printer, a pioneering desktop machine that integrates the printing capabilities for both rigid surfaces and fabrics into a single unit. This innovation aims to eliminate the need for multiple specialized printers for creators.

The company, based in Mountain View, California, has launched global pre-orders for the O1 Omni, a new hardware category designed with the slogan “From Rigid to Fabric. Print It All.” This device consolidates UV, DTG, DTF, and UV DTF printing technologies within one desktop ecosystem. Users can now print on materials like wood, acrylic, glass, metal, and apparel without needing to switch equipment.

At its core, the O1 Omni features a configurable dual-printhead system. It can be set up for dual-UV printing to enhance layered effects and speed up production, or as a hybrid UV and fabric configuration to handle different material types simultaneously. The printer is equipped with xTool’s Pixel-Scan Vision System, which combines laser altimetry and close-range scanning. This technology automatically adjusts print height, preventing collisions and enabling a simple “drop and print” workflow without the need for manual jigs.

For fabric printing, the UV and Fabric Edition utilizes an OEKO-TEX-certified system supporting both direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTF) printing. The printed results are rated to maintain color integrity for over 50 washes. The Dual-Head UV Edition is optimized for rigid materials, offering flexible and white inks, as well as fluorescent options for blacklight-reactive effects. An array of accessories, including a DTG platen and laminator integration, further expands the printer’s capabilities.

Despite its advanced features, xTool has designed the O1 Omni with user-friendly software. The xTool Studio links laser cutting and UV printing, ensuring automatic design realignment between machines. Its AI-driven contour recognition allows artwork to be adapted to irregular shapes and avoids cutouts like camera holes. The platform also includes a library of over 2,000 textures for 3D relief printing and a generator for lenticular and naked-eye 3D effects. xTool emphasizes the use of GREENGUARD-certified inks, built-in air filtration, and the SmartCycle 2.0 system for automated maintenance, ensuring the printer remains ready for use even after extended periods of inactivity.

The xTool O1 Omni is targeted towards small businesses aiming to diversify their product lines, designers looking to transform digital art into physical products, and hobbyists seeking greater material flexibility. While offering impressive specifications, the O1 Omni represents a significant investment. During the pre-order phase, three configurations are available at discounted prices from their eventual retail values: the UV Edition starts at US$1,699, the Dual-Head UV Edition is priced at US$2,699, and the UV and Fabric hybrid edition costs US$2,799. A US$50 deposit is required to secure these early bird prices and an exclusive bonus package valued at US$459.

The pre-order deposit period concludes on July 15, after which final payments will be processed, and global shipping will commence. More information is available on xTool’s official website.
