EA Sports FC 27 Cover Stars Revealed: Mbappé and Bellingham Take Center Stage
EA Sports has unveiled the cover athletes for the upcoming installment of their popular football simulation series, EA Sports FC 27. Gracing the cover will be a dynamic duo: French international superstar and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, alongside his Real Madrid teammate and England international, Jude Bellingham.
The announcement follows the recent release of the game's gameplay trailer on Thursday, July 23rd. The trailer showcased exciting new features, including "The Grounds," and provided essential details regarding the different editions of the game available for purchase.
Both Mbappé and Bellingham have been prominent figures in recent football news due to their exceptional performances in the FIFA World Cup. Kylian Mbappé made history by becoming the World Cup's all-time leading goalscorer, netting 10 goals in the recent tournament to reach a total of 22, surpassing Lionel Messi.
Meanwhile, England's star midfielder Jude Bellingham led his national team to a third-place finish, scoring an impressive 7 goals. Notably, Bellingham secured the third-place medal by defeating his club teammate and international rival, Kylian Mbappé, in a high-scoring match.
EA Sports FC 27 is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026. The game will be offered in three distinct editions, each providing varying levels of additional content.
Pre-ordering the Standard Edition includes the base game, a 92+ rated Icon card for FC 26, Career Mode pre-order challenges, three different Icons/Heroes for Manager Career, a 5-star coach, a 5-star Youth Scout, the "The Grounds" Signature Sweatsuit, and additional content for "The Grounds."
The Ultimate Edition enhances the Standard Edition offering with an 85+ rated Icon for FC 27, an additional FC 27 Player Evo slot, up to 7 days of Early Access, the Season 1 Premium Pass, 6000 FC Points (distributed over three months), immediate FC 26 content, and further Career Mode and "The Grounds" content.
For those opting for the Ultimate Plus Edition, it encompasses all the benefits of the Ultimate Edition, with notable additions including an extra Hall of FUT Player Pick, Premium Passes for Seasons 1-5, and 10,000 FC Points spread across five months, an increase from the 6000 points in the Ultimate Edition.
Pricing for the editions is as follows: the Standard Edition will cost $89.99 CAD, the Ultimate Edition $129.99 CAD, and the Ultimate Plus Edition $199.99 CAD.
