Ys Memoire: Revelations In Celceta Is Getting An Updated Switch Exclusive Version

Marvelous USA, alongside its publishing division XSEED Games, has announced an updated, exclusive Nintendo Switch version of the classic game Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta.

This refreshed edition, featuring a rearranged musical score, is slated for release on April 28, 2026. It will be available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99, with a 15% discount offered from its announcement until May 4, 2026.

The Ys Memoire series chronicles the adventures of Adol Christin, one of the most extensively traveled adventurers in his world. Each game serves as a memoir of Adol’s journeys. Interestingly, while Revelations in Celceta is the fourth installment in the series, its events canonically unfold between the first and third memoirs.

The gameplay of the Ys Memoire series shares elements with early Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest titles but introduces its own distinct mechanics. Battles are dynamic; enemies and party tactics continually evolve, demanding player adaptation. Often, the party gains new abilities mid-battle to contend with more formidable foes. Additionally, a standout feature of the original series was its mapping system, which allowed players to mark mysterious locations and other significant points on their personal maps.

Fans of Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta will be pleased to learn about the available day-one edition for pre-order. This special package includes a copy of the game, a 3D acrylic keychain/diorama set, a comprehensive two-disc soundtrack with 32 tracks, five art cards depicting in-game characters, and a 21” x 14” cloth map of the beautiful region of Celceta. All these exclusive items are presented in an ornate box featuring unique artwork and are priced at a reasonable $84.99 CAD.

The lore-rich universe of Ys offers extensive reading material, allowing players to delve into the world’s history and gain a deeper appreciation for Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta.
