Disney+ has unveiled its exciting lineup for April 2026, promising a month packed with highly anticipated new content. Subscribers can look forward to a mix of returning favorites, new original series, and expanded universes.
A major highlight is the return of the beloved sitcom Malcolm in the Middle with a new four-part mini-series titled Life’s Still Unfair. Fans have long awaited a revival, especially with star Bryan Cranston expressing interest over the years. The new series sees Malcolm, after successfully avoiding his dysfunctional family for years to maintain peace in his new life and with his new family, face a new challenge when his old family discovers his new existence. They will stop at nothing to bring him back into their fold and meet his grandchild/niece.
The Star Wars universe also expands with the premiere of Maul: Shadow Lord on April 6th. This series picks up after Maul’s escape from Ahsoka at the conclusion of The Clone Wars TV show. He embarks on a quest to reclaim his lost power and exact revenge on those who wronged him, planning to achieve this by training a disillusioned Padawan as his apprentice while hiding on a planet untouched by the Empire’s influence.
