Upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Editions Hinted for Several Popular LEGO Games

Reports indicate that a banner displayed at a recent convention in Switzerland teased potential Nintendo Switch 2 versions for five existing LEGO titles. Despite the appearance of Switch 2 branding for games currently only available on the original Switch, no official announcements have emerged from Nintendo, Warner Bros., or TT Games following the Zurich Pop Con.

Discovered by Eurogamer and shared by `The LEGO Videogame Museum` on X (formerly Twitter), the banner prominently featured the Switch 2 logo alongside well-known titles such as Lego City Undercover, Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Jurassic World, Harry Potter Collection, and DC Super-Villains. While these games are already compatible with the Switch 2, they do not currently have dedicated updates or specific next-gen editions. This leads to speculation that the advertisement could be hinting at future performance enhancements for these five games, or simply serving as a reminder of their cross-generation playability.

Looking ahead, one LEGO title explicitly confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2 is Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This upcoming Caped Crusader adventure is expected to combine narrative elements from various Batman films with the acclaimed gameplay style of the popular Arkham video game series.

In related news, a recent Nintendo Direct presentation earlier this month confirmed upgrades for several other titles specifically for the Switch 2. Notable examples include Stardew Valley, which will receive mouse controls and four-player local co-op, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder, introducing new multiplayer modes.
