Fortnite is currently experiencing a major K-Pop Demon Hunters event, featuring a comprehensive collaboration. This exciting takeover brings back the popular Horde Rush mode with a fresh K-Pop Demon Hunters theme, introduces four new items to the Battle Royale and Blitz loot pools, and makes all three members of the group HUNTR/X available in the in-game item shop. This extensive collaboration, surprisingly announced less than a week ago, might be a swift response to the Netflix movie`s growing popularity.
The item shop offers character outfits for Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, each accompanied by a themed pickaxe and a ramyeon back bling. The collection is completed with Zoey`s Thumbs Up emote. Individual skins cost 1,500 V-Bucks, while a complete bundle is available for 3,500 V-Bucks, offering significant savings for players wishing to acquire the entire set.
In addition to purchasable items, players can also acquire various free K-Pop Demon Hunters cosmetic items by playing Fortnite. These freebies are split into two categories: those earned by increasing account levels in any game mode, and those obtained by completing specific quests within the limited-time Demon Rush mode.
Earning Free K-Pop Demon Hunters Cosmetics in Fortnite
Players can unlock two free cosmetic items simply by advancing their account levels over the next seven days. Reaching four new levels grants the Special Ramyeon emoticon, while eight new levels unlock the exclusive HUNTR/X Unite loading screen. Completing various K-Pop Demon Hunters quests, many of which involve using the new loot items, will accelerate progress towards these rewards.

Four distinct K-Pop Demon Hunters gameplay items have been introduced into the loot pool. These include:
- Rumi`s Sword: Offers both ranged and close-quarters attacks.
- Zoey`s Bubble Shield: Functions like the standard bubble shield but plays HUNTR/X music when active.
- Mira`s X-Tra Spicy Ramyeon: Provides health, shields, and a temporary speed boost upon consumption.
- Tiger`s Teleporting Mask: A re-themed version of the existing Void Mask, allowing instant teleportation to a placed portal.
Each of these new items is associated with quests granting 10,000 XP.
Even more free rewards await players who dive into the new Demon Rush mode. Demon Rush, a fresh take on the returning October staple Horde Rush, challenges players and three teammates to fight waves of monsters and formidable bosses alongside Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. Utilizing the newly introduced items will aid survival. Completing quests within this mode will unlock additional K-Pop Demon Hunters items:
- Completing four quests awards a banner icon.
- Completing eight quests unlocks the Playful Derpy emoticon.
- Completing twelve quests earns the HUNTR/X spray.
Demon Rush Quests for K-Pop Demon Hunters
Currently, only a limited number of Demon Rush quests are accessible, meaning all rewards cannot be obtained immediately. Additional quest batches, with the first scheduled for next Wednesday, October 8, will become available later. These quests are designed to be straightforward, and many will likely be completed through regular gameplay.
Among the available quests is a five-stage challenge to defeat the final Peely boss at progressively higher difficulty settings, which can be adjusted using the Cursed Tiger Statue found at each boss encounter. Other Week 1 Demon Rush quests include:
- Inflicting damage on demon spawners using explosives or junk rifts.
- Selecting upgrade perks 20 times during matches.
- Achieving a 50x streak.
- Upgrading weapons 15 times.
These quests will remain active throughout the Demon Rush event, which concludes on November 1, coinciding with the likely end of Fortnitemares 2025.
