Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Update: Shred Custom Parks Online and Enjoy Optimizations

A fresh update for Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 3+4 now allows players to perform incredible tricks online with friends on their custom-built skateparks. Activision states that users can create private matches to explore and hone their skills alongside buddies in their unique “DIY American wastelands” and “proving grounds.”

The full patch notes also highlight significant improvements to loading times and bug fixes across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. Activision promises that tracking challenges and collecting hidden items in Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 3+4 will become easier. Another key aspect of the update is “more consistent grinds and gap triggers” within the game.

Activision also announced in a press release that, as of August 13, over 10 million hours have been played in Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 3+4. While this doesn`t directly reveal sales data, the company proudly noted that this amount of time would be enough to skate around the planet 3,500 times. How one might cross oceans on a skateboard in this scenario remains unexplained.

Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 3+4 was released last month and received its first major discount earlier this week. Interestingly, Tony Hawk himself almost gave up on the idea of making a skateboarding game in the 1990s, just before Activision entered the picture.
