TMNT: Tactical Takedown Is Making Its Way To Consoles Sooner Than You Think And With A New Mode

TMNT: Tactical Takedown, the latest iteration of the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game franchise, is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on August 14. Developed by Strange Scaffold in collaboration with Paramount Game Studios, this game uniquely blends strategic turn-based combat with dynamic beat-’em-up action, offering a fresh perspective on the beloved series.

The game`s narrative unfolds in a darker universe where both Splinter and Shredder are deceased, and the Turtles are on the verge of adulthood. Tactical Takedown presents a gritty coming-of-age story spanning 20 evolving, diorama-style levels. The intense atmosphere of battles is further enhanced by an immersive soundtrack from acclaimed composer R.J. Lake, maintaining high energy throughout every encounter.

Introducing Remix Mode

Coinciding with the console release, an entirely new Remix Mode will be introduced, also available as a free update for the existing PC version. Remix Mode significantly expands enemy variety and introduces unique attack patterns, compelling players to constantly re-evaluate their tactics. Familiar adversaries become unpredictable, and survival demands immediate adaptation, making every decision critically important for success.

For those who appreciate extensive customization, Remix Mode provides enhanced character build options. As players confront iconic foes like the Foot Clan, they will unlock new skills, swap out gear, and assemble powerful loadouts tailored for each Turtle. Whether leveraging Michelangelo`s lightning-fast speed or Donatello`s innovative tech-driven strategies, the choice of how to effectively defeat the villains is entirely up to you.
