The Angry Birds Movie 3: Release Date Accelerated, MrBeast Joins Voice Cast

Paramount Pictures has adjusted the release schedule for The Angry Birds Movie 3, moving its premiere forward by over a month. Originally slated for January 29, 2027, the animated film will now debut just before Christmas, on December 23, 2026.

According to a report by Deadline, popular YouTube personality Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, is joining the voice ensemble for The Angry Birds Movie 3. He will be accompanied by Webby Award recipient Salish Matter. Specific details regarding their characters have not yet been disclosed, building anticipation for their roles.

Many familiar voices are returning to their iconic roles, including Jason Sudeikis as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver, Anthony Padilla as Hal, Ian Hecox as Bubbles, and Danny McBride as Bomb. The cast is further expanded with new, exciting additions such as Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, and Sam Richardson, promising fresh talent to the beloved franchise.

John Rice is set to direct the third installment of The Angry Birds Movie series. His extensive directorial background includes work on popular animated projects like Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, Rick and Morty, Bob`s Burgers, The Simpsons Ride, and The Happy Elf, bringing a wealth of experience. Production of The Angry Birds Movie 3 is being jointly handled by Rovio and Sega, uniting key players in the franchise`s history.
