Tavern Keeper Launches on Steam Early Access After Over a Decade in Development

After an extensive development period spanning 11 years, Greenheart Games has officially announced that its eagerly awaited fantasy-themed business simulation game, Tavern Keeper, will make its debut on Steam Early Access on November 3. This release marks a significant milestone for the studio, known for its previous success with Game Dev Tycoon. To celebrate, Greenheart Games has released an updated demo, available now ahead of the October edition of Steam Next Fest.

Experience Fantasy Inn Management

Tavern Keeper immerses players in the challenge of managing their own fantasy inn, drawing parallels to beloved management titles like Two-Point Hospital. The game expertly blends lighthearted humor with a deeply intricate simulation system. Players are given extensive control over their establishment`s design, from precise layout adjustments to the placement of detailed decorative elements in its sandbox mode. This allows for the creation of diverse spaces, ranging from lively taprooms filled with patrons to serene reading nooks designed for quiet contemplation.

Adding to the game`s immersive experience, Tavern Keeper features a comprehensive campaign mode, narrated by the accomplished English actor Steven Pacey. In this mode, players will embark on a journey to construct and manage taverns across various distinct regions. Each region presents its own unique set of challenges, introduces different fantasy cultures, and unfolds captivating stories, providing a rich and varied gameplay experience.

Upcoming Steam Events

While Tavern Keeper prepares for its early access launch, players can also look forward to several upcoming Steam promotions. Steam Next Fest, featuring numerous game demos, begins on October 13. Other notable events scheduled for this year include Steam Scream (October 27 – November 3), Animal Fest (November 10-17), Sports Fest (December 8-15), and the highly anticipated Steam Winter Sale, commencing on December 18.
