Following the successful launch of Tales of Graces f Remastered two years ago, Bandai Namco is set to continue its `Tales Remastered Project` later this year with the anticipated release of Tales of Xillia Remastered. This enhanced version, arriving on current-generation consoles, was unveiled alongside a captivating trailer highlighting its significant visual upgrades and various quality-of-life improvements designed to enhance the player experience.
Originally launched in Japan in 2011 and internationally in 2013, Tales of Xillia invites players to explore the mystical realm of Rieze Maxia, a world where humans and spirits coexist in delicate balance. The intricate narrative unfolds through the perspectives of its two central protagonists, Milla Maxwell and Jude Mathis. Their individual destinies become inextricably linked as they uncover a perilous conspiracy surrounding a powerful weapon—a device capable of draining the life force from spirits and disrupting the fundamental equilibrium of their entire world.
Key enhancements introduced in the remaster include an invaluable auto-save feature, early access to the popular Grade Shop, and convenient destination icons that visually guide players toward their objectives. Furthermore, all previously released downloadable content (DLC), encompassing a wide array of additional costumes and bonus items, will be comprehensively bundled with this new release. While fundamentally a single-player role-playing game, Tales of Xillia`s dynamic real-time combat system uniquely allows for up to four players to engage in exhilarating cooperative battles, enabling them to unleash powerful combo attacks in seamless conjunction with their allies.
Tales of Xillia Remastered is officially slated for release by Bandai Namco on October 31. The game will be widely available across multiple modern gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, offering broad accessibility for fans.
