Stardew Valley Switch 2 Edition: Mouse Controls and 4-Player Local Co-Op Confirmed

The beloved game Stardew Valley is set to receive a special Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which will come with several new features, notably including mouse control support. This highly anticipated update promises to enhance the farming simulation experience on Nintendo`s latest console.

During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it was revealed that the Switch 2 version of Stardew Valley will leverage the new console`s full potential by offering mouse controls. This could significantly enhance the gameplay experience, providing greater precision and ease of use compared to traditional gamepad schemes. The Switch 2`s innovative Joy-Con 2 controllers will be capable of functioning as mice in select games, thereby enabling more granular and accurate interaction for players.

Beyond mouse support, the Switch 2 edition of the popular farming simulator will also support an exciting four-player local split-screen co-op mode. This means up to four friends or family members can enjoy the game together on a single console. Moreover, the Switch`s GameShare functionality will enable up to three additional players to join a co-op session using just a single copy of the game. Stardew Valley for Switch 2 is slated for release this fall, bringing these new features to fans very soon.
