Schedule 1: Rival Cartels Update Now Live – All New Features & Changes

Following a period of beta testing, the significant `Rival Cartels` update for Schedule 1 has officially launched. This update brings a new level of challenge with the introduction of the formidable Benzies family from Hyland Point, alongside exciting additions like a new purchasable property and vehicle.

Schedule 1, a popular game where players establish and expand a drug-dealing empire, receives fresh challenges and opportunities with this update. The Benzies family emerges as a rival once players secure a certain number of customers in Westville. Their presence brings new threats, including ambushes, theft, dealer robberies, and customer poaching. However, players can also negotiate a truce with the Benzies to unlock exclusive cartel-player deals.

Upon successfully completing the Benzies family storyline, players gain access to the new Hyland Manor property. A new graffiti system is also introduced, allowing players to spray graffiti to decrease cartel influence and earn experience points. Managing cartel influence is crucial, as high influence levels in certain map areas will restrict access, requiring players to reduce it to unlock new regions.

Beyond properties and mechanics, the update expands customization and gameplay with new items like the `Hotbox` vehicle, a pump shotgun, and various new hairstyles for player characters.

Despite its considerable success, Schedule 1 is developed by a single individual under the name Tyler`s Video Game Studio (TVGS). The developer, Tyler, has issued an apology for delays in recent updates, stating in a recent Steam announcement that future updates will no longer have specified release dates. Tyler also expressed aspirations to expand operations by securing office space and hiring full-time developers for Schedule 1 in the near future.

For a comprehensive list of all changes, review the detailed patch notes below:
