Devotees of the chilling and enduring Saw horror franchise can soon immerse themselves in Jigsaw`s sinister traps with unprecedented clarity, as the second, third, and fourth installments are set for their debut on 4K Blu-ray. These highly anticipated releases arrive as Amazon-exclusive Steelbook Editions. The Limited Edition Steelbook for Saw II is currently available for preorder at Amazon for $24.42, a significant discount from its original $35 price. While preorders for the Saw III and Saw IV 4K Steelbooks are not yet live, they are expected to become available shortly.
Note: Amazon initially indicated an October 21 release date for all three films, but this information has become ambiguous. Following a price reduction for Saw II`s Steelbook, Amazon removed the release date, suggesting it might have already launched with an estimated 4-5 week delivery window.
Each of the new Saw Limited Edition Steelbooks includes a comprehensive package: 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray, and digital copies compatible with Movies Anywhere for flexible streaming or download. These 4K discs boast superior visual quality with Dolby Vision and HDR10, complemented by immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound, promising an optimal viewing experience for Saw II, III, and IV.

Which Saw Movies Are Available on 4K Blu-ray?
While a new Steelbook for the original Saw film would have been a welcome addition, its absence is logical given that the unrated 4K Blu-ray edition was already released in 2021 and remains available for purchase. Beyond the initial film and these new Steelbooks, only the three most recent entries – Jigsaw (Saw VIII), Spiral (Saw IX), and Saw X – are currently available on 4K Blu-ray. Notably, Saw X, the tenth film, is chronologically set between Saw and Saw II, making it a fitting rewatch as fans await their preorders. Spiral, a standalone spin-off featuring Chris Rock, can be viewed independently, although its reception has been mixed. Similarly, 2017`s Jigsaw, set a decade after the original seven-film arc, functions largely as a self-contained story, though prior knowledge of the main series would enhance the viewing experience.
Saw Series on 4K Blu-ray
- Saw $15
- Saw Limited Edition $58.48
- Saw II Steelbook Edition $35
- Saw III Steelbook Edition $35
- Saw IV Steelbook Edition $35
- Saw 8: Jigsaw $16
- Saw 9: Spiral $13.57
- Saw X $18.77
To achieve a complete Saw collection, which notably includes Saw V, VI, and Saw 3D (The Final Chapter) that aren`t yet available in 4K, the Saw 7-Film Collection on Blu-ray is a highly recommended option at $20. This set offers excellent value, even if only for the three films not currently offered in 4K. Several other Blu-ray box sets are also available for consideration:
Saw Movie Blu-ray Box Sets
The Saw series defined a significant portion of the 2000s horror landscape, with a new installment released annually from 2004 to 2010. For many enthusiasts, the core Saw franchise consists of seven films, culminating with Saw 3D, also known as Saw: The Final Chapter. For those prioritizing the original storyline over 4K resolution, the Saw 7-Film Collection, featuring all seven unrated editions, remains the perfect choice. An updated Saw 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray is available for $25, essentially adding Jigsaw to your set for a small premium.
For the most comprehensive option, the Saw 10-Film Anniversary Collection, priced at $46 (originally $65), was released last spring to commemorate the franchise`s 20th anniversary. This extensive 23-disc set includes both Blu-ray and DVD versions of every film from the 2004 original to 2023`s Saw X. While it`s approximately twice the cost of other sets, it`s the sole collection offering both formats, plus three bonus DVDs with special features for the first three films, four collectible art cards, and is presented in an oversized plastic case within a cardboard box adorned with one of Jigsaw`s infamous devices.
- Saw: 7-Film Collection (Blu-ray) $20
- Saw: 8-Film Collection (Blu-ray) $25
- Saw: 10-Film Collection (Blu-ray + DVD) $46
The unrated editions of the first seven Saw movies are also available individually on 1080p Blu-ray with matching cases for cheap. We`ve listed those and the recent trio of Saw films below:
All Saw Movies on Blu-ray (Individual Releases)
- Saw $10.81
- Saw II $15
- Saw III $9
- Saw IV $8.33
- Saw V $14.49
- Saw VI $11.67
- Saw: The Final Chapter $15
- Jigsaw $10
- Spiral $12
- Saw X $12.49
Beyond the films, Saw enthusiasts might also be keen on the forthcoming Billy the Puppet Funko Pop. This notably unsettling vinyl figure is complete with its characteristic tricycle and is available for preorder at $15, with a release date of September 27.
