Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G Officially Launched: AI, Slim Design, and 6 Years of Updates

Samsung is expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup with the official launch of the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. These new models incorporate several features previously seen on higher-end devices, with a particular focus on evolving artificial intelligence capabilities designed to enhance daily user experience.

The Galaxy A57 5G stands as the more advanced model in the series, boasting a slender 6.9mm profile and a premium build featuring aluminum and reinforced glass. Its design emphasizes clean lines and a seamlessly integrated camera module. The Galaxy A37 5G adopts a similar aesthetic, while also incorporating eco-friendly materials and retaining an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

Technical Specifications of the New Galaxy A Series

Both devices run on Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.5. Their AI integration spans various functions, from natural language-based settings management to inter-application interactions. The ecosystem leverages Bixby for system operations and Google Gemini for more complex cross-app activities.

Key new features include automatic transcription within the recorder app, enabling conversion and translation of voice content. Users will also find on-screen content analysis tools and contextual suggestions, alongside deeper integration with the SmartThings ecosystem for controlling connected devices.

For photography, both models feature a 50-megapixel main sensor, complemented by ultra-wide-angle and macro lenses. Software enhancements improve performance in low-light conditions and automatically optimize scenes. The Galaxy A57 5G further includes advanced HDR management and noise reduction tools, while the Galaxy A37 5G focuses on more precise portrait modes.

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy A57 5G is powered by an Exynos 1680 processor, while the Galaxy A37 5G uses an Exynos 1480. Both chipsets are engineered to ensure smooth multitasking and seamless daily performance. A robust 5,000 mAh battery in each device promises up to two days of usage, supported by fast charging that can reach approximately 60% in just half an hour.

Both smartphones boast immersive 6.7-inch AMOLED displays, featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and high brightness for excellent readability, even in bright conditions. Slim bezels further enhance the visual experience.

For security, both devices come equipped with Samsung Knox and Knox Vault, providing hardware-level protection for sensitive data and credentials. Samsung also commits to an impressive six generations of Android updates and six years of security patches, an increasingly significant factor for smartphone buyers.

The new models are scheduled for availability in Italy starting April 10, 2026. Pricing for the Galaxy A57 5G begins at €549.90, while the Galaxy A37 5G starts at €449.90.
