Razer introduces the newest iteration of its Blade 16 laptop, impressively combining enhanced power, driven by an Ultra 9 processor and high-speed memory, without compromising its signature portability.
The renowned PC and peripheral manufacturer, Razer, officially announced the 2026 upgrade to the Razer Blade 16, maintaining its esteemed reputation as one of the thinnest gaming laptops available. This updated Blade 16 is equipped with the brand-new Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, boasting 16 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.9GHz. This formidable CPU provides a significant advantage for users engaging in demanding multitasking or high-setting gaming. Furthermore, the laptop integrates an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) capable of up to 50 TOPS of AI acceleration, perfect for tasks like image generation, content creation, and real-time translation.
Memory-wise, the Razer Blade 16 features up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 MHz, currently the fastest laptop memory available. This immense bandwidth is crucial for simultaneously running intensive creative software, advanced development environments, and AI-powered applications. Complementing its processing power are the latest GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, delivering exceptional graphical performance. These new RTX 50 Series GPUs also include substantial integrated AI capabilities, allowing users to significantly boost performance through NVIDIA DLSS 4.
Beyond its raw performance, the Razer Blade 16 maintains its high standards for display quality. It boasts a vibrant 16-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) OLED panel, now 100 nits brighter and featuring a blistering 240 Hz refresh rate. Despite these powerful internals and stunning visuals, the Blade 16 retains its defining characteristic: extreme thinness. Measuring only 14.9 mm (0.59 inches) thick and weighing approximately 2.14 kg (4.71 lbs), it continues to be Razer’s slimmest Blade, achieving an impressive equilibrium between portability and high performance. A new addition is the Thunderbolt 5 port, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 120 Gbps, ideal for rapid file transfers and effortless multi-monitor configurations.
The new Razer Blade 16 will be publicly showcased at PAX East 2026. As the Official Laptop Partner for PAX Arena, the event’s premier esports stage for tournaments, creator demonstrations, and community gaming, the laptop will be prominently featured both on stage and throughout the exhibition floor.
Reflecting its high-end specifications, the new Razer Blade 16 comes with a premium price tag of $3,499. Prospective buyers can acquire this advanced laptop directly from Razer’s official website.
