PowerWash Simulator 2 Confirmed for Day One Xbox Game Pass Launch

Microsoft has confirmed that PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. This announcement was made in the description of the game`s latest trailer, which showcases mementos players can display in their virtual home after cleaning them.

The first installment, PowerWash Simulator, also launched on Xbox Game Pass in 2022 and achieved immense success. Developer FuturLab stated that this commercial triumph is why the sequel will not cost more, despite introducing numerous new features.

Outside of the Game Pass subscription, PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available for outright purchase at $25. FuturLab explained that maintaining this price point is a nod to the current cost-of-living crisis and the game`s perception by many as more than just entertainment, but rather a “wellbeing tool.”

Indeed, there is a distinctly calming and meditative quality to cleaning objects with a powerful water hose.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is set to launch this fall, though a specific release date has not yet been revealed. The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

In other Game Pass news, The Rogue Prince of Persia made a surprise launch on the service today. Additionally, Gamescom announcements confirmed that High on Life 2 will join Game Pass in February 2026, and Tropico 7 is also slated for the service.
