Pokemon TCG Pocket: New Expansion with Legendary Trio Arrives August 28

A significant new expansion, `Secluded Springs,` is set to launch for Pokemon TCG Pocket on August 28. This upcoming update will bring the focus to Pokémon from the Johto region, featuring prominently a powerful trio of legendary creatures.

Within the `Secluded Springs` expansion, players will encounter beloved Pokémon, reminiscent of their original appearances in the classic Pokémon Gold and Silver video games. This includes the renowned legendary beasts: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. In addition to Johto Pokémon, the expansion also introduces characters from the Hoenn region. A glimpse of some of the fresh card designs can be seen in the accompanying trailer.

According to an announcement on the official Pokémon website, Suicune will be featured on a newly designed binder cover and a display-board backdrop, both scheduled for release on August 31. Players can also anticipate a series of engaging in-game events scheduled throughout September.

Kicking off the `Secluded Springs` events will be the Zoroark Drop Event, which runs from September 3 to 13. Participants can battle in special solo challenges to earn the Promo Pack A Series Vol. 12. Following this, a Bonus Week event commences on September 8, offering missions with rewards such as pack hourglasses and other valuable items.

Later in the month, starting September 26, players can look forward to the Water-type Pokémon Mass Outbreak event. During this period, cards featuring Water-type Pokémon will appear more frequently in rare and bonus card selections.

Looking further ahead, Mega Evolutions are confirmed to arrive in the game later this fall. While a precise release date is yet to be announced, this highly anticipated feature will introduce new, more powerful forms for various Pokémon.
