The highly anticipated “Tales of Transformation” season for Pokémon Go is set to launch on September 2nd, running until December 2nd. Developer Scopely`s latest update promises a wealth of fresh content, including innovative transformations for legendary Pokémon, an expanded roster of Mega Evolutions, and the introduction of new pocket monsters to capture.
Keldeo`s Resolute Form Debuts
A major highlight of the season is the confirmation that the mythical Pokémon, Keldeo, will be able to transform into its powerful Resolute Form. This transformation will be unlocked through a special, season-long Research journey. In the main Pokémon games, Keldeo`s Resolute Form significantly enhances its power and speed. For trainers who have already caught Keldeo, this is an excellent opportunity to earn Keldeo Candy and further strengthen their Pokémon.
New Mega, Dynamax, and Gigantamax Encounters
Fans of Mega Pokémon have much to anticipate with several Mega Raid Days scheduled throughout the season. Trainers will have the chance to battle and catch Mega Sharpedo, Mega Camerupt, and Mega Metagross. Additionally, the “Tales of Transformation” season will introduce new Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon, such as Dynamax Abra, Dynamax Duraludon, and Gigantamax Garbodor, offering fresh challenges and capture opportunities. The hunt for new creatures extends to Dripplin and Hydrapple, which will be making their debut next month.
Introducing Dripplin and Hydrapple
Dripplin, initially featured in the Teal Mask expansion for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, is a fascinating addition. Under specific conditions, Dripplin evolves into the formidable Grass- and Dragon-type Pokémon, Hydrapple. This marks the third distinct evolutionary path for Applin, the charming apple-inspired Pokémon, which can also evolve into Flapple and Appletun.
Shadow Raids and Progression Overhaul
For players seeking an ultimate test of skill, Shadow Raids will offer intense battles against powerful adversaries, including the formidable Shadow Groudon and various other Shadow Pokémon.
Beyond the season`s immediate content, Pokémon Go is also planning a significant progression overhaul later this year. Starting on October 15th, a new update will increase the level cap, introduce enhanced rewards, and bring a host of other improvements to the game, promising a refreshed experience for all trainers.
