PlayStation Plus August 2025 Free Games Unveiled

Sony has officially announced the highly anticipated PlayStation Plus free games for August 2025. Starting August 5th, all PS Plus members will have the opportunity to download a trio of diverse titles: the highly acclaimed Lies of P, the challenging survival sandbox DayZ, and the action-packed fighting game My Hero: One`s Justice 2. Subscribers are reminded to claim July`s free offerings before they become unavailable next Tuesday.

For fans who have been eagerly awaiting a Bloodborne remaster or a new sequel, Lies of P presents a compelling alternative. This dark, souls-like interpretation of the Pinocchio fairy tale delivers polished and challenging gameplay that will undoubtedly appeal to devotees of the genre. Its recent “Overture” expansion, launched in June, further enriched the stylish experience with additional story content and even more formidable adversaries.

DayZ, a veteran in the survival genre, offers a truly hardcore experience. Set within an expansive and unforgiving world, players must contend not only with relentless zombies but also with the often more dangerous threat of other human survivors, leading to unpredictable and intense encounters.

Rounding out the August lineup is My Hero: One`s Justice 2, a dynamic 3D arena fighting game based on the popular “My Hero Academia” manga and anime series. Featuring a roster of heroes and villains from the franchise, this title provides an excellent opportunity to catch up on the narrative and character dynamics, especially with a new game reportedly on the horizon that will cover the series` final arc.
