While physical standard editions for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch are available, it`s important to note that the Nintendo Switch 2 physical version is a “Game-Key Card” release. This means the game data is not on the cartridge; instead, the card acts as physical DRM, allowing you to download and play the digital version on your Switch 2. The other platforms, however, include the complete game data on their physical media. The Switch 2 is backward compatible with Switch 1 games, so players can opt for the Switch version of Octopath Traveler 0 if they prefer a physical cartridge with game data.
