The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, set to release on November 14, is expected to bring back the beloved Nuketown map shortly after its initial launch across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
According to a September 30 announcement from CharlieIntel, Nuketown will be introduced to Black Ops 7 ahead of its first season. This indicates it won`t be among the 18 maps available at launch. Given that Black Ops 6`s first season began merely 20 days after its release on October 25, 2024, if Black Ops 7 follows a comparable schedule, Nuketown could become available in early December.
Originally debuting in the 2010 Black Ops title, Nuketown quickly became iconic due to its compact design, featuring incredibly close-quarters combat lanes and two distinct two-story houses. This layout is renowned for intensifying the already rapid pace of gameplay. After appearing in Call of Duty: Mobile, the map was remastered for Black Ops 6, and is now set for another return prior to the launch of Black Ops 7`s Season 1.
The open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled to commence this weekend, with official timings now confirmed. Participants in the beta will have the opportunity to experience the Zombies mode and test the impact of explosive body shields.
