No Man’s Sky Voyagers Update: Players’ Incredible Ship Creations Take Flight

The recent “Voyagers” update for No Man`s Sky has introduced one of the most popular features in the game`s nine-year history: customizable Corvette starships. This addition has also led to the highest player count since the game`s initial launch. Known for its extensive customization options, particularly since the introduction of base building, No Man`s Sky continues this trend with the Voyagers update. Players are already showcasing incredibly inventive and imaginative Corvette designs, each one seemingly surpassing the last.

Among the standout creations, one player crafted a massive, pixelated portrait of Sean Murray, co-founder of Hello Games and the lead developer of No Man`s Sky, directly onto their ship. Another imaginative pilot designed a colossal Sentinel Walker-inspired vessel, intending to playfully provoke the in-game Sentinels.

Sean Murray himself has been actively sharing some of his favorite community designs. Players are paying homage to beloved products and characters, for instance, by building a ship shaped like a classic Nokia flip phone – a humorous take on traversing the cosmos.

Given Hello Games` British origins and large UK fanbase, it`s no surprise that some users have created tributes to other iconic British creations. Examples include starships modeled after Thomas the Tank Engine and the menacing penguin from the “Wallace and Gromit” series.

Furthermore, a user on Reddit constructed an impressive cruiser, drawing inspiration from the distinctively bold starships found in the Warhammer universe.

The No Man`s Sky community is a treasure trove of diverse player-made vehicles. Noteworthy examples include a replica of the SR-71 Blackbird, a ship resembling the Doctor Who TARDIS (or perhaps a police callbox), and even the iconic Turtle Van from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
