However, OatmealDome did offer a speculation that the update “might have some backwards compatibility fixes.”
This September 29 release marks the second firmware update for the Switch 2 this month, following version 20.4.0 which was deployed on September 1. Notably, the console received no firmware updates throughout August. Cumulatively, the September 29 update represents the sixth overall firmware iteration for the Switch 2 since its market debut in early June.
