Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle Now Available for Preorder on Amazon

Almost two months after preorders first became available at other major retailers, Amazon has officially opened its own preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle. This highly anticipated package is priced at $500. Notably, unlike previous Amazon listings for the Mario Kart World Bundle or the standalone console, customers can place their preorder for this new bundle without needing an invitation. The bundle is slated for release on October 16, coinciding with the launch of the game itself, and it includes a digital copy of Pokemon Legends: Z-A along with the console, mirroring the offering of the Mario Kart World Bundle.

While preorders for this specific bundle remain accessible at Walmart and Target, it is currently listed as sold out at both Best Buy and GameStop.

This Pokemon bundle appears to be a direct replacement for the Mario Kart World launch bundle, which was initially marketed as a limited-time offering set to conclude this fall. Although an exact expiration date for the Mario Kart Switch 2 bundle has not been disclosed, it is highly probable that it will be discontinued once the Pokemon bundle becomes available in stores on October 16.

Similar to the Mario Kart bundle, opting for this Pokemon package provides a financial saving compared to purchasing the $450 console and the $70 game separately, effectively giving buyers a $20 discount. An important distinction, however, is that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is not an exclusive title for the Switch 2; the game will also be released for the original Nintendo Switch console, priced at $60.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A stands as one of several exciting Nintendo exclusive titles scheduled for release this autumn. The recent September Nintendo Direct event was packed with significant announcements, including a Super Mario Galaxy collection, firm release dates for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, alongside a variety of new Amiibo figures compatible with both the original Switch and the Switch 2 platforms.

Other notable upcoming Nintendo titles include:

  • Pokemon Legends: Z-A
  • Super Mario Galaxy Collection
  • Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
  • Kirby Air Riders
  • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
  • Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
