Nintendo Switch 2 Gets Major New Titles Including Warframe, Disney Dreamlight Valley & More

The Nintendo Switch 2 has recently welcomed a significant wave of new titles, with more exciting additions on the horizon. This past week alone saw the debut of several highly anticipated games for the system.

Among the latest arrivals, Disney Dreamlight Valley stands out, offering a noticeably enhanced experience on the Switch 2. The developers’ ambition to create a “bigger, smoother, and more magical Valley” has been realized, as players can now enjoy higher frame rates, significantly faster loading times, and a generous increase in the item limit, allowing up to 6,000 items in their personal valleys. For those unfamiliar, Disney Dreamlight Valley invites players into a charming world inhabited by Disney characters who have lost their memories, tasking them with rebuilding the valley and forging meaningful friendships.

Warframe also joins the Nintendo Switch 2 library, bringing its fast-paced action to a new audience. Notably, the Switch 2 version supports full cross-play and cross-platform saves across all existing platforms, including iOS, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Android, ensuring players can seamlessly continue their adventures. This launch coincides with The Shadowgrapher, the game’s latest update, which introduces a new playable character, a fresh game mode, and more content. As a special bonus, Switch 2 players can claim exclusive rewards simply by logging in between March 25 and April 15.

Fans of The Lord of the Rings will be delighted to discover that Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2. Previously released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, the original Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, this cozy life simulation offers a free upgrade for owners of the game on the original Switch. Tales of the Shire immerses players in the tranquil beauty of Bywater, focusing on the simple joys of hobbit life, such as fishing in peaceful ponds, preparing delicious meals for friends, and nurturing new friendships to help the town flourish.

These three prominent titles are just a glimpse of what’s arriving on the Switch 2. Other notable games slated for release on the 26th include the Switch 2 versions of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, and The Midnight Walk. If these games pique your interest, be sure to explore them upon their launch.
