New Silent Hill F Trailer Unveils Creepy Encounters and English Voice Cast

A new trailer for Silent Hill F premiered during Gamescom Opening Night Live, offering the first official look at the game`s English voice cast. While the storyline remains shrouded in mystery, the trailer provided a clear glimpse into the game`s combat system and introduced an enigmatic character donning a fox mask.

This young man appears to be a pivotal figure, opening the trailer by stating that protagonist Hinako “saved my life and laid claim to my soul. In turn, I shall save your soul by claiming the life of your old self.” The exact meaning of this declaration is open to interpretation, but the trailer visually depicts Hinako encountering what seems to be an alternate version of herself.

Echoing previous teasers, this latest preview shows Hinako navigating an eerie, abandoned village overrun by monstrous entities. Fresh details include the fox-masked individual guiding Hinako with a luminous blue lantern, and Hinako discovering her own home transformed upon her return.

The trailer also showcased Silent Hill F`s combat, which, while appearing more fluid, retains the methodical precision fans expect from the series. Hinako is seen wielding a polearm against a graceful, saber-wielding dancer-like adversary. Another disturbing enemy, resembling writhing intestines or doll parts on legs, emits a piercing scream that causes Hinako immense pain.

The role of Hinako in the English dub will be voiced by Suzie Yeung. She is widely recognized for her previous work as Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Makima in Chainsaw Man, and Sue Storm/Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals.

Ahead of its release, editor Jessica Cogswell`s preview of Silent Hill F hailed the series` resurgence, noting, “I`d now go so far as to say [Silent Hill is] not only back, it`s stronger than ever, and that Silent Hill F has the potential to be the best game in the series.”

Silent Hill F is scheduled for release on September 25 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
