The latest trailer for Drag X Drive delves into its unique control scheme. Players will utilize the Joy-Con 2 controllers, employing mouse-like movements to manage each wheel of the in-game wheelchair, enabling precise control over momentum and direction through forward or backward swipes. While a stable surface like a table is recommended, Nintendo notes that various flat surfaces, including a player`s lap, can suffice. The author even recounts a humorous personal anecdote of using their sleeping cat as an improvised mousepad for Donkey Kong Bananza.
Drag X Drive is one of two significant Switch 2 releases slated for August. Another major title arriving on August 28 is an enhanced version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, featuring new expansion content and updated visuals.
Looking ahead, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is scheduled for an October release. Furthermore, Nintendo has announced a new Direct livestream set for July 31, promising approximately 25 minutes of updates on upcoming titles. This event may potentially include a confirmed release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
