New Details Emerge for Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s Star-Crossed Worlds Expansion

Nintendo has revealed additional details about the eagerly anticipated expansion for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, promising an exciting experience for fans upon its release later this month.

The upcoming title, humorously dubbed “Kirby and the Forgotten World Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed Worlds,” is designed as both an enhancement and a significant addition to Kirby`s 2022 platforming journey. This new iteration, specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2, will boast enhanced graphics and smoother performance, in addition to a wide array of fresh levels and gameplay elements.

Within the `Star-Crossed Worlds` DLC, Kirby embarks on a quest to gather special star fragments, known as Starries. These fragments are crucial for sealing an ominous evil that emerged in The Forgotten Land following a meteor`s crash. The meteor`s influence has reshaped existing areas into `Starry Stages,` compelling players to explore every nook and cranny to uncover hidden zones and collect all the scattered Starries.

Beyond the new environments, `Star-Crossed Worlds` also introduces three innovative Mouthful modes. These fresh transformations allow Kirby to become `Spring Mouth` for unprecedented leaps, `Gear Mouth` to scale walls, and `Sign Mouth` to swiftly descend inclines.

For players keen on collecting, `Starry Coins` will be dispersed across the new levels, usable to acquire new figures that expand Kirby`s extensive collection from the main game. Furthermore, a formidable new challenge awaits at the Colosseum in Waddle Dee Town, promising some of the toughest battles yet.

Current owners of `Kirby and the Forgotten Land` can acquire the Nintendo Switch 2 enhancement and `Star-Crossed Worlds` add-on as an upgrade pack for $20. For new players, the base game and this comprehensive upgrade package can be purchased together for $80.
