This exciting announcement came from Atari, Digital Eclipse, and NetherRealm Studios during a recent Nintendo Direct livestream.
This collection employs Digital Eclipse`s innovative “interactive documentary” format, akin to their previous works like Atari 50 and The Making of Karateka. It delves into the rich history of the iconic fighting game series, featuring exclusive interviews with co-creators Ed Boon and John Tobias.
The comprehensive collection bundles 11 distinct Mortal Kombat titles, encompassing a wide array of arcade, console, and handheld iterations. Below is the complete roster of included games:

The Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection will be available digitally on October 30 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. While physical editions are already open for pre-order, digital pre-orders for PC and all consoles (excluding Switch) are slated to begin on September 15.
