Minecraft, a game celebrated for empowering players to sculpt their own unique worlds and personalize their characters, is launching its latest major collaboration. The iconic block-based universe is set to merge with the legendary world of Dragon Ball Z. While Mojang has yet to reveal a specific release date, the company has confirmed that this exciting partnership will be introduced later this year.

The upcoming Dragon Ball Z crossover was first hinted at during the recent Minecraft Live presentation. Although comprehensive details about the collaboration`s content are still limited, fans can already begin to channel their inner Saiyan. Players can currently acquire free Super Saiyan Hair from the Minecraft Marketplace, an exclusive offer available until November 4, 2025.
Minecraft boasts an extensive history of partnering with various franchises and well-known brands. Past collaborations have introduced beloved characters and elements from popular series such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Sonic the Hedgehog, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hello Kitty, and the world of Terraria. The game has also ventured into fashion, collaborating with brands like Burberry, Lacoste, and AAPE.
In addition to the Dragon Ball Z announcement, Minecraft Live also unveiled other anticipated content. These include the “Copper Age” update, slated for release next week, the “Mounts of Mayhem” update scheduled for Holiday 2025, and a new educational “Friendly Fishing” add-on.
