Minecraft Live 2025 Event Announced for Late September

Mojang Studios has officially scheduled the next Minecraft Live event for September 27th, marking nearly half a year since the last broadcast that previews future Minecraft content. This highly anticipated event will once again offer players a glimpse into the upcoming developments for the beloved blocky universe.

The announcement was accompanied by a teaser trailer, suggesting exciting new content for players to anticipate and speculate on.

Fans can tune into Minecraft Live through multiple official channels, including the Minecraft website and its various social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok. The event is slated to kick off on September 27 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Mojang has hinted that the broadcast will deliver exclusive insights into forthcoming, unannounced game releases, direct perspectives from the developers, and other intriguing surprises.

Following the main Minecraft Live stream, an extended “Deep Dig After Show” will be broadcast, a tradition Mojang has consistently maintained. This segment, hosted by Vu Bui, will feature Minecraft developers and special guests delving deeper into and demonstrating the game`s forthcoming features, providing a more detailed look at what`s in store.

A major highlight expected at Minecraft Live is the upcoming “The Copper Age” update, which could potentially launch this very month. This significant update is set to broaden the utility of copper within the game and introduce the distinctive Copper Golem. Separately, it`s worth noting that Minecraft recently released a Superman-themed downloadable content (DLC), drawing inspiration from the latest film reboot of the iconic superhero.

Beyond the core Minecraft experience, Nintendo`s upcoming cozy title, Pokemon Pokopia, appears to incorporate design elements reminiscent of both Minecraft`s creative freedom and Animal Crossing`s charming life simulation. Nevertheless, the enduring and robust popularity of the original Minecraft suggests its dominance in the gaming world remains unchallenged for the foreseeable future, continuing to captivate millions of players worldwide.
