Lumines Arise: Psychedelic Puzzle Beats Drop in November with Limited-Time Demo

One of the standout announcements from this year`s Summer Game Fest was Lumines Arise, a vibrant, psychedelic puzzle and rhythm game developed by Enhance, the creators behind Tetris Effect Connected. Enhance has now confirmed that Lumines Arise will launch on consoles and PC on November 11th. A limited-time demo is currently available for download on Steam and the PlayStation Store.

Lumines Arise reimagines the beloved classic puzzle franchise, Lumines, originally developed by Q Entertainment and first released on the PSP in 2004. Gameplay involves players strategically dropping 2×2 blocks, each composed of smaller squares in two distinct colors, onto the playfield. The objective is to form larger colored squares to earn points.

The Lumines Arise demo, accessible today via PlayStation Network and Steam, offers the initial three stages of the single-player “Journey” mode, alongside an exciting new multiplayer option called “Burst Battle.” This demo will only be available for download for one week, disappearing from both platforms on September 3rd.

Pre-orders for Lumines Arise are currently live, offering both Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy an additional 10% discount when pre-ordering through the PlayStation Store. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes four exclusive avatars, themed around Humanity, Tetris Effect Connected, Astro Bot, and Rez Infinite.

Lumines Arise joins a crowded November release schedule, which also features titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Kirby Air Riders, and the recently delayed indie RPG Demonschool. October is shaping up to be the year`s busiest month, with major releases such as Ghost of Yotei, Borderlands 4, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and Battlefield 6 all arriving within the first ten days, followed by Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, and The Outer World 2 in the latter half of the month.

Lumines Arise is set to release on November 11th for PlayStation 5 and PC.
