Lucky Tower Ultimate, Beloved Flash Game Successor, Launches Fully

After a year and a half of early access development and four significant content updates, Lucky Tower Ultimate is finally set for its full release.

The full version of Lucky Tower Ultimate will launch on April 16th, 2026, priced at $20.56 CAD. It will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch, making the Switch its debut console.

Described as an “absurd roguelike” with “slapstick humor and a hand-drawn aesthetic,” Lucky Tower Ultimate promises unique journeys with every playthrough. Players assume the role of knight Von Wanst, tasked with defeating the tower’s evil mastermind, Evelius. Upon death, Von Wanst returns to a local village, where progress from the run contributes to permanent upgrades, enhancing future attempts.

During its early access phase, Lucky Tower Ultimate received four major content updates, significantly expanding its gameplay. These updates introduced a new cave system leading out of the tower, a princess companion who can be recruited after an initial hostile encounter, and numerous additions to core mechanics. Players saw new armor, weapons, hairstyles, traps, items, as well as an expanded roster of enemies and quests.

We’re so excited for Lucky Tower Ultimate to be leaving Early Access and launching into 1.0. We wish our players the best of luck defeating Evelius and destroying the tower; we couldn’t have made the game as hard and as ridiculous as it is without them.
