Last Chance for 50% Off Criterion Collection 4K Blu-Rays

The extensive 50% off sale on films from The Criterion Collection concludes on July 27, marking your final opportunity this weekend to take advantage of these deals at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Criterion`s 4K Blu-ray editions are priced at $25, while most 1080p Blu-rays are available for $20. This annual summer promotion, which began in late June, includes nearly every Criterion title in Amazon`s stock, with preorders being the primary exception. An interesting exception to this was Stanley Kubrick`s *Barry Lyndon* on 4K Blu-ray, which received its 50% discount ahead of its July 8 release. Below are some curated selections of films by specific directors and actors:

  • David Lynch Films
  • Akira Kurosawa Films
  • Guillermo del Toro Films
  • Martin Scorsese Films
  • The Coen Brothers Films
  • Godzilla Films
  • Adam Sandler Films

Further down, you will find a more comprehensive alphabetized list of individual film deals, in addition to dedicated sections for the directors mentioned above. A broad selection of excellent Blu-rays and box sets remains available on Amazon, though some items on the list may already be sold out. For those who prefer browsing with cover art visible, a specially curated Amazon hub features our favorite Criterion Collection deals.

Criterion Collection 50% Off Blu-rays

Films marked with “(4K)” are 4K Blu-rays. All other titles are 1080p Blu-rays, with a few DVDs included. Many of Criterion`s recent releases are available in all three formats: 4K, 1080p, and DVD. To avoid redundancy, we have listed only one format for each film. However, if a 4K Blu-ray is sold out, you might still be able to find the 1080p version by changing the format on the store page.
