Fans of James Bond who missed out on Amazon`s exclusive Sean Connery Steelbook Library Collection earlier this year now have another opportunity. Walmart is offering the 007 6-Film Steelbook Library Collection, priced at $142.68. This is slightly higher than Amazon`s previous $140 exclusive, but Walmart`s offering is a region-free, imported version that includes both 4K Blu-ray and 1080p Blu-ray discs. In contrast, Amazon`s exclusive US edition came with 4K Blu-ray and digital copies. Given that the international edition typically retails for $190-$200 through third-party sellers, Walmart`s stock is expected to sell out quickly.
Sean Connery`s six official James Bond films made their 4K Blu-ray debut in June. A standard edition collection is also available for $100, and individual 4K Blu-ray releases for each of these six films are slated for September 23.
