Indiana Jones and The Great Circle Update: New Game Plus Mode

To mark its 15th anniversary, MachineGames has launched a significant free update for the adventure game, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. This update introduces the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode, an iconic outfit from “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” the ability to select voice languages, and numerous general improvements.

The New Game Plus mode, a feature frequently requested by the community alongside the “Cairo outfit,” becomes available after completing the main story. In this mode, players retain all their unlocked Adventure Books. The developers suggest increasing the difficulty level, as Indy will be considerably more powerful. Additionally, a new after-credits scene awaits players who finish the game in New Game Plus mode.

The “Cairo outfit” portrays Indy without his jacket, and MachineGames hints at more cosmetic options for the famous archaeologist to be revealed in the coming months. Regarding voice language selection, players can mix and match any of the nine available voice languages with any of the 14 text languages.

Recently, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle also received “The Order of Giants” DLC, where the protagonist teams up with a young priest named Father Ricci in Rome. The game, initially released for PC and Xbox Series X|S, is also available on PlayStation 5, with a future release planned for Nintendo Switch 2.

Other Features

  • Xbox Series X and S versions now include a Power Saving mode. By default, the GPU will reduce its activity when not fully tasked. An additional Power Saving option in the Video settings allows the game to enter this mode if the controller is idle for some time, lowering resolution and limiting frame rate. Activity is restored upon controller movement.
  • This feature is planned to be added to other platforms in the future.
  • In anticipation of the upcoming release of the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds, detection for these devices has been added, and the game will automatically set suitable video quality settings for optimized performance.

General Fixes
