Fans are hopeful that “Evangelion: 3.33” will also see a reprint soon, completing the full “Evangelion” saga on Blu-ray. Currently, only the DVD version of “3.33” is readily available. In related news, the concluding film, “Evangelion: 3.0+1.11 Thrice Upon a Time,” received a new Blu-ray Steelbook Edition last summer, which is now priced only slightly higher than its standard counterpart. The Limited Edition includes The Complete Series with the newer dub (the same as in the standard edition) but crucially also provides the original ADV dub. This makes the Limited Edition an 11-disc collection with over seven hours of bonus features.
The discs are housed in three cases that fit within a hardshell collector`s box. This is the Limited Edition Reissue, meaning it does not contain all the extra collectibles from the original Crunchyroll exclusive.
