Following a series of enigmatic hints on social media and a dedicated teaser website, Saber Interactive has officially announced its upcoming title: Hellraiser: Revival. This new first-person survival horror game is set within Clive Barker`s iconic Hellraiser universe and will feature the return of a familiar character, portrayed by his original actor.
In Hellraiser: Revival, players control Aidan, whose girlfriend inadvertently frees Pinhead and his Cenobite followers, leading to her abduction to Hell. Notably, Doug Bradley will reprise his role as Pinhead for the first time in two decades. Players will navigate a first-person survival horror environment as Aidan, journeying into Hell to rescue his girlfriend from the Cenobites.
Aidan`s arsenal against the formidable Cenobites includes the iconic Lament Configuration puzzle box, alongside various other weapons. The announcement trailer (a red-band version is available on the game`s official website) showcased items like a knife and a nail-studded baseball bat, demonstrating their use, as well as at least one lethal application of the puzzle box.
Promotional hints for the Hellraiser project started last week with the mysterious appearance of a teaser website (july-22-2025.com), displaying only static with a quick glimpse of the number 55. Saber Interactive`s official social media accounts then directed followers to this site, accompanying other teasers and a compilation of horror content creators` reactions to the reveal trailer.
Hellraiser: Revival is slated for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, an official launch date or window was not provided during the announcement.
