The critical flaw, specifically linked to the ODST MA5C Assault Rifle, has been officially acknowledged and documented under the “known issues” section on the Helldivers 2 Discord server. Reports indicate that the game crashes when all players on the “bridge” simultaneously equip this particular weapon from the armory, followed by the host leaving the game session. This problem is affecting players across all platforms, and the development team at Arrowhead is actively working on a permanent fix.
Fortunately, a straightforward workaround is available to prevent these crashes for the time being. Arrowhead`s developers recommend that players equip the ODST Assault Rifle through their loadout menu, rather than selecting it directly from the armory.
In addition to the weapon crash, the studio has also brought to light another issue impacting Helldivers 2`s Warbonds (the game`s equivalent of a battle pass). Players who possess a “Warbond Token” may encounter difficulties spending their Super Credits.
