As you progress in Grounded 2`s campaign, a key objective is to hack two O.R.C. transmitters. These devices are strategically placed and can be challenging to access without proper preparation. This guide will walk you through finding and interacting with the transmitters for the `Signals and Stashes` mission, located at the Picnic Table and Trash Can landmarks. Be ready for combat at each site, as O.R.C. enemies (distinguishable by their glowing purple receiver devices) will guard them. Ensure you have your preferred weapon and healing items ready. Hacking each transmitter also unlocks a bonus objective, which we will cover as well.

How to Reach the Picnic Table O.R.C. Transmitter

The Picnic Table Point of Interest (POI) is situated north of the Snackbar, easily identified by its red and white-checkered tablecloth.
Before heading to the Picnic Table, prepare for the game`s `chill` effect. You`ll pass through a cooler, and without cold protection, you`ll freeze. Equip cold-resistant armor like the Mitey Muffs headpiece and Fuzzy Mukluks, or carry spicy candy. These are the earliest cold-resistant options available.
The Mitey Muffs require:
- 5 – Mite Fuzz
- 5 – Grub Hide
The Fuzzy Mukluks require:
- 3 – Bee Fuzz
- 2 – Bug Rubber
- 3 – Lingonberry Leather
- 2 – Silk Rope

With your cold gear equipped, proceed to the Picnic Table. Ascend the red and white-checkered tablecloth, encountering mites and spiders. The top of the tablecloth is blocked, so detour through the cloth tunnel, where more spiders await.

This path leads to a wooden beam, allowing you to cross to the table`s other side. Ignore the harmless roach nymphs. Your objective marker will guide you to an outdoor cooler; ensure your cold protection is active before entering.

Traverse the cooler`s passage to reach the table`s summit. The O.R.C. transmitter awaits, but be prepared to engage O.R.C. ladybugs and possibly spiders before you can hack it.
How to Defeat the O.R.C. Soldiers by the Pines

After hacking the Picnic Table transmitter, your next objective is to `find and defeat the O.R.C. soldiers by the Pines.` While an objective marker should guide you, if it doesn`t appear, head to the path left of the Ranger Outpost: Pine Hill.
This location is teeming with Orb Weaver O.R.C. enemies. Engage them, perhaps using spears or daggers, and be sure to have bandages ready. Once cleared, you`ll hack another transmitter. Don`t forget to gather Lingonberries in this area, as their leather is vital for many crafting recipes.
How to Reach the Garbage Can O.R.C. Transmitter

Accessing the Garbage Can requires protection from toxic gas. A gas mask is highly recommended over Gastro Goo smoothies due to their limited duration. You`ll need to defeat a stinkbug to craft either. Also, gather a few dandelion tufts; they are invaluable for safe descent from the precarious paths atop the can.
The gas mask requires:
- 1 – Weevil Nose
- 4 – Gnat Fuzz
- 2 – Crude Rope
- 1 – Stinkbug Part
The Gastro Goo smoothie requires:
- 1 – Stinkbug Gas Sack
- 1 – Roach Chunk
- 1 – Aphid Honeydew
Once equipped for gas, proceed to the Garbage Can POI, ideally with a Red Soldier Ant buggy for navigation.

Circle the can to locate a nearby ledge. From there, jump onto a small branch, then a banana. From the banana, turn and leap onto the white plastic spork. You`ll continue ascending this narrow path, utilizing limbs and ropes, until you reach the summit.

The O.R.C. transmitter is atop the trash pile. You might sneak past, or face an O.R.C. cockroach. Regardless, survive and hack the device.
How to Defeat the O.R.C. Soldiers by the Pond

Hacking the Garbage Can transmitter triggers the objective to `find and defeat the O.R.C. soldiers by the pond.` Your objective marker will guide you to a berry bush-filled area.
O.R.C. bees guard these berries, so prepare for combat; a bow and arrow for ranged attacks and bandages are advisable. While only defeating the bees is required, take the opportunity to harvest blueberries, as their leather is a critical resource for crafting.
