Grounded 2 Guide: Finding and Crafting Lingonberry and Blueberry Leather

In Grounded 2, Obsidian`s survival game, players must gather resources and craft items to survive the sprawling Brookhollow Park. Essential upgrades for armor and tools often require Lingonberry Leather or Blueberry Leather. This guide will detail where to locate these berries on the map and how to process them into valuable leather.

To collect berry pieces, you`ll need the Omni-Axe at Level II or higher. Ensure your Omni-Tool is upgraded before attempting to gather these crucial resources.

Lingonberries, identifiable by their red color, are found along the western edge of the map, specifically just north of the Snackbar. These berries grow on plants at the map`s boundary. Some berries are low enough to be knocked down by jumping, while others are higher up and require a bow and arrow to dislodge.

Use your Omni-Axe (Level II or higher) to chop the berries and collect the pieces. It`s advisable to gather a good quantity, as Lingonberry Leather is a component in various important crafting recipes. We`ll discuss how to make the leather in the section below.

Blueberry bushes are located in the southeast corner of the map, directly beneath the Ice Cream Cart. Collecting these berries early in your game might involve less resistance; however, waiting until later in your campaign could mean encountering two O.R.C. Bee bosses guarding the area.

Similar to lingonberries, some blueberries are low enough to be knocked down by jumping, while others require a bow and arrow to retrieve.

Use your Omni-Axe (Level II or higher) to chop the blueberries and collect the pieces. It is recommended to gather ample blueberries, as Blueberry Leather is essential for various crafting recipes, as detailed next.

Crafting Lingonberry and Blueberry Leather

To transform these berries into leather, you`ll first need a workbench. A workbench can be crafted using the following materials:

  • 3 – Grass planks
  • 4 – Sprigs
  • 2 – Sap

Within the workbench`s resource section, you`ll find the option to craft leather. Each piece of leather requires three berry pieces (either Blueberry or Lingonberry).

Remember to analyze both the raw berry pieces and the crafted leather. This crucial step will help you unlock new crafting recipes and expand your options in Grounded 2.
