The Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch is currently available at a significant discount, priced at just $20 on Amazon during Prime Day, while supplies last. This is a very attractive offer, especially considering other retailers like Target have quickly sold out of this deal. If the Amazon stock is depleted, you might find the collection for slightly more ($22.18) at Walmart, but given the popularity, both options are likely to be snatched up quickly, representing savings of $30 or $28 off the original price.
Released on February 27 exclusively for Nintendo Switch and PC, this collection brings together 14 classic Yu-Gi-Oh titles originally launched on Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance between 1998 and 2003. The physical edition for the Switch also includes a bonus Secret Rare Yu-Gi-Oh trading card—specifically, one of two possible Quarter Century Secret Rare Harpie`s Feather Duster cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters marked the franchise`s initial significant success and was the sole entry released on the original Game Boy platform. The series truly hit its stride on Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance in the early 2000s. It`s remarkable that all 14 games included were originally released within a tight five-year timeframe between 1998 and 2003.
Even more surprising is that this collection doesn`t represent *all* Yu-Gi-Oh games released during that period. The Early Days Collection compiles the first 14 handheld Yu-Gi-Oh games, but Konami also developed several console titles for PlayStation, GameCube, and PlayStation 2 in the late `90s and early 2000s.
