Genshin Impact`s significant annual update has officially launched, bringing with it the game`s seventh major region, an array of fresh storylines and characters, and special events commemorating the game`s fifth anniversary.
Unveiling Nod-Krai: Teyvat`s New Frontier
This new release, titled “Version Luna 1: Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue,” introduces Nod-Krai, an expansive new explorable area that further broadens the world of Teyvat. Nod-Krai is depicted as an autonomous zone where diverse factions converge, setting the stage for the latest chapter in the ongoing `Song of the Welkin Moon` version series.
The region of Nod-Krai is composed of three distinct island areas: Hisi Island, Lempo Isle, and Paha Isle. Players will begin their adventure in Nasha Town, the primary human settlement located southeast of Lempo Isle, accessible after a sea voyage from Natlan.
New Characters and Storylines
Beyond the new region, this update advances Genshin Impact`s overarching narrative and introduces new side quests. Players can look forward to acquiring several new playable characters through exclusive banners during this latest update. These include:
- The 5-star Dendro character: Lauma
- The 5-star Electro character: Flins
- The 4-star Hydro character: Aino
Additionally, the update offers valuable in-game rewards for all players, such as a free 5-star character, 1,600 Primogems, and 10 Intertwined Fates, among other bonuses.
Meeting Points: Explore Daily Life in Teyvat
Version Luna 1 also debuts “Meeting Points,” a new feature designed to allow players to delve into the daily lives of Teyvat`s diverse cast of characters. By engaging in conversations and completing unique events at these points, players can uncover deeper insights into characters` respective factions and the rich lore of the world around them.
